The Jubilee Hotel, a renowned pub in Fortitude Valley, Queensland, has undergone a remarkable transformation. Once visited years ago, it now stands as a modern meets heritage hotel complex, impressively renovated with a bright and spacious dining area, conveniently situated behind the heritage pub. Boasting ample seating, a well-stocked bar, and a large food servery, The Jubilee Hotel offers excellent service, delectable cuisine, and a remarkable selection of beers. While not the most affordable option, the prices are still reasonable given the venue's unique charm. This establishment is an idyllic spot to gather with friends, although it is important to note that it can quickly become popular during lunch hours. With its stunning backdrop, exceptional food quality, and attentive staff, The Jubilee Hotel promises a delightful and memorable experience for patrons.

Visited this pub years ago, now it has been completely renovated into a modern meets heritage hotel complex. Huge and bright covered dining area behind the heritage pub with plenty of seating. Bar, and food servery all convenient and large. Good service, and food, plus the beer was great. Not the cheapest, but given the venue not that extravagantly priced. Ideal place to meet up with friends. Be aware that the the "Jub" gets very popular quickly at lunchtimes.
Overall a surprising improvement from the old food quality and over atmosphere is on point with the entirety of the venue. Just being a stunning backdrop to some of the best food you can get for the price at the moment without question. I hope this place does even better every day. Beers of course need a little bit of improving. I would like to see more local beers on tap
Have eaten at the Jubilee a couple of times now, and not impressed. Particularly today, when my "carbonara" looked and tasted nothing like one should. Mostly because it contained probably half a cup of vaguely sliced garlic, and quite a bit of chili. Was not what I expected, and honestly wasn't pleasant either. (Attached photo is what I didn't eat, after picking out most of the actual pasta and mushrooms.) After the pretty average meals I've had here at other times, and considering the price, definitely can not recommend.
Only thing I can really say in its defense is that the staff are lovely. Kudos in particular to the staff member I questioned about whether the carbonara was meant to be like that (yes to the garlic, no to the chili) - he handled the situation very professionally. I appreciated that.
Venue is dog friendly and the vibe is great. The food, I only had steak but it wouldn’t be a place I would recommend for steak.
250G Rump with Broccolini, Duck Fat Kipfler Potatoes & Red Wine Jus ($32)
Overall: 7/10
Review: I have been wanted to go to the renovated Jubilee Hotel since it reopened but just never had the chance till recently. Went for lunch on a Wednesday and booked a table which was a good idea as we got a booth up the top to ourselves. They have a good verity on the menu but I couldn’t pass up a good old steak. I went with the rump and decided on the potatoes and broccolini for some health. Went with medium rare for the steak as I always do and it was a bit overcooked for my liking and I found it a bit chewy. Normally I am a mushroom sauce kinda gal but thought I would try something different and get the red wine jus. I liked the richness and how it wasn’t as heavy as the mushroom sauce, highlighting the texture of the steak more. The potatoes were nice but I thought they would be crispy considering they were cooking in duck fat but they were a bit more like boiled potatoes. The broccolini was nice. Overall, I thought the price for the steak wasn’t really worth it but loved the open courtyard area with lots of nature light, high ceilings and relaxed atmosphere.
Ordered a medium steak and it came out rare. The meal was no where what you would expect a $40 steak to be. Very small serve of chips and salad. Didn't hit the mark at all. Would probably just recommend the new Jubes for a place to have a drink. Definitely not worth spending the money on meal there tho from my experience.
I really like this place for events and gatherings
They have a wide range of drinks & food
Plenty of tables and also an elevated room to book for your parties
It’s best place to watch sport matches because they have huge screen
I like wagyu burgers here
Really nice venue for a drink but avoid the food. Had the prawn aglio... Not sure how half of it could be cold and half of it hot? Probably stirred the pre (over) cooked pasta through right at the end 🤮 was tasteless mush for $32. Waitress was lovely
